We truly enjoyed our stay at the Palace Hotel and will definitely come back. The property is small but good, and the staff is really friendly. The rooms are immaculate and neat, and we loved the equestrian family photos and the fridge in the room.

The location was fantastic, with a ferry port just a short walk away from here.

The Palace Hotel in Oban offers plenty of options and excellent food. The economy twin room has an exceptionally comfortable bed, a lounge area, and blinds. It's also in a great location, close to a pub with old prints of horses, frequented by those who enjoy the "gee-gees.

The units are extremely spacious and immaculate. There are stirring family equestrian photos that add a nice touch. The hotel also has a bonus point for a lounge area and blinds. The location is great and unbeatable, close to the port and marina, the Oban live music festival, and Glasgow.

Peter
The hotel is in a great central location next to the town center, nightlife, and ferry, and our room was clean, budget-friendly, and had a fantastic view of the harbour.

Stephen
The economy twin room we were allocated was neat. The location was marvellous and unbeatable - short walk to the railway station, a pub frequented by men who like the " gee-gees ", and the Oban live music festival. Lucky that it was approximately 10-15 minutes' walk from Subway, offering food to go.

It was in the centre of town and easily accessible for exploring the area whether on land or by sea. It was very comfortable and warm with a good selection for breakfast. I enjoyed it very much.
I could not in all honesty say I did not like anything about this hotel.

Central location, good value, friendly helpful staff gave us the choice of sea front or larger rear room on an upper floor. Would stay here again.
Not a major complaint but the windows were not doubled glazed which meant that you could hear some noise from outside which is why we chose the room at the back. Some noise from other guests could be heard closing doors and moving around on upper floor. Only concern on health & safety side was when having a shower it was difficult to get a suitable temperature for the water from the two bath taps. Once you got a desirable temperature within a minute it went back to uncomfortably hot.

The hotel offers great value for money, with reasonable prices and attention to detail throughout. Its prime location on the main street overlooking the bay and islands is truly picturesque. The service provided by the staff is excellent, and the basic amenities meet the expectations of a comfortable stay. The rooms, described as large and refurbished with a king-size bed, offer a lovely view and ensure a good night's sleep.
The hotel maintains a high standard throughout, leaving no room for improvement.
